The briefing

This course covers life-saving first-aid so you can be your own first responder. You will also learn how to properly use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and be certified in CPR.

Conducting CPR without being certified puts you at risk of civil liability. This course provides the necessary education to be certified in CPR by the American Heart Association.

We are excited to have partnered with Chris Sainsbury, who is not only a CPR Instructor, but also a Guardienne Solutions alumni! Chris has been a Firefighter and EMT for 30 years. He is also an instructor through the American Heart Association.

If under 18, you must attend with a paying parent/guardian.

Your certification will need to be renewed every year. Our system will send you a reminder.

Questions

Is there something I have to do before the class?

Yes, and it's required. You MUST complete the ACS Stop the Bleed Interactive Course — the online version of the classroom lecture — at least 7 days before the in-person skills day. The link is sent to you after purchase.

Do I get CPR certified?

No. The course provides basic information on CPR but we do not provide CPR certification. This course is solely for the ACS Stop the Bleed certification.

Who teaches it?

Chris Sainsbury, a Stop the Bleed Instructor and Guardienne Solutions alumni. Chris has been a firefighter and EMT for 30 years and is also an instructor through the American Heart Association.
