Guardienne — a woman, girl, or other female force who or which guards; a female guardian. Karen served over 17 years across the Army and Marine Corps; Courtney served 14 years in the Army as Military Police and Corrections, then 8 years with the Kentucky Department of Corrections as a Probation and Parole Officer, Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor and Crisis Negotiator. They met in 2017 (ish) at the same firearms course and it soon became rare to see one without the other. Polar opposites in many ways — but their styles complement each other, and where one lacks the other makes up for it.
